I am Chip Abernathy and I am the assosiate pastor at Douglasville Second Baptist Church. Our youth Ministry is called God's C.L.A.Y. We offer programs for all ages. Our goal is to introduce students to Jesus Christ and to teach them the word of God.

Mission Statement: 

Our mission is to partner with parents to help young people build a relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to inspire them to have a love for the word of God and a desire to share the gospel and serve others.  

We know that living a Christian life as a young person is not easy and can't be done without the power of the Holy Spirit.  We encourage our young people to stay in God's word (KJV) daily and to focus on the truth.  We have an active youth group.  We have classes and activities for all ages of youth 2yrs. - 12th grade.  If you are a young person seeking a place where you can build relationships with other young believers we encourage you to come be a part of our youth.
